Cost: Free (donations to the Center are welcome)

Hanafuda Hawai’i is about using games to teach young people and to keep the minds of the elderly active and engaged. A friendship circle to learn and share the game with others of all ages and bring generations together.

Drop-in classes that welcome novice to advanced-level students! Teachers are on hand to guide you.

* Prize Table Day is on the last class of the month. If you would like to donate to the prize table, please bring your items on those days only. No articles of clothing (gently used shoes/hats/accessories are ok). There is no obligation to donate to the prize table, this is only if you have any unwanted items in your home that you’d like to pass along. Make sure to bring all the game kālā you saved up to purchase the prizes!

No class on 11/28/24 (Thanksgiving Day). The class will resume on 12/5/24.

Hanafuda’s last class for the year is 12/19/24. Class will resume again on 1/9/25.
